Spring is finally here!

Development on Dailymuse continues. It’s starting to feel like a real product now, but the main drive is still to build the features that I would like see. Metadata has been added to Dailymuse’s emails and today views including the collection and if the note is marked to be sent on the current date, or “On this day”.

Next, I’m going to implement a spaced repition system so that new notes are sent more frequently to begin with. After a period of time you will optionally can mark these notes as mastered or even archive them.

I’ve been building out the Rails application that supports this blog now that I’m self-hosting my blog again. Postpress as I like to call it has all the usual features like image hosting, drafts and support for books, but there’s a few more features coming that will include supporting a more interactive blogroll and videos.

I’m currently reading The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson and Blood Over Bright Haven by M. L. Wang. I have a few more books that I would like to start and just switch between them all for the next few weeks.

Me and Jennifer are currently watching Tulsa King and Shrinking. We’ve watched Tulsa King from the beginning and have been watching season 3. So far it’s been okay. We’ve also started watching Shrinking for the first time. We absolutely love it! A few episodes a week keeps us going so far.
