With the golf season underway, I’m busy with Drew’s team matches and his individual competitions. Thankfully, Ethan is back from the States as well, so he can provide some assistance with Drew and his competitions. For the rest of May, Drew has competitions at Hamilton, Stirling and Whitecraigs.
Development on Dailymuse continues with some back-end improvements. I am extracting a lot of the logic into services to keep my controllers light. Areas of the code around authentication, subscriptions, collections, and notes delivery now live within service objects, making testing these much easier.
Still reading Jade City by Fonda Lee. I have all but given up on reading Blood Over Bright Haven by M. L. Wang.
I’m also reading A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking, and once that’s done, I’ll move on to The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene. You can see more on my reading page.
On the small screen, we just finished watching Running Point on Netflix, which was fun.
