I’ve been giving the Bear notes app another try during the last few weeks. I’m not finding it has the same traction that I used to have with it. Also, the much-touted web interface seems to have fallen off the radar.

๐ธ day 11 / retrospect #mbsept
In retrospect, I could have saved myself a bunch of work and named my models better when I built this Rails application.

Great to see Mike Rohde’s Packers game sketchnotes are back. I hope that when the Packers win the Super Bowl this year ๐, Mike does a wall chart comprising of all his game sketchnotes for the whole season. I’d gladly pay for that.

Steven Pressfield on breaking through resistance.

I needed this.
Is it a thing now that in order to get concert tickets for a band you need to do a pre-sale sign-up?
Best of Squeeze (Live at the Fillmore). Cranking this one up.
Great day at Elderslie Golf Club with Ethan winning the Junior Club Championship. Well done big yin!

Finally, I resolved a wee build issue with my custom theme changes here on Micro.blog. Switching the Hugo version down to 0.91 did the trick. Regular posting can commence again!
Seth Godin on summarizing text with ChatGPT. I do this quite a lot when squashing Git commit messages down. Write clear and concise messages for each commit, then let ChatGPT provide a summary. I also always do a quick edit of the final commit message just to be sure it’s accurate.
