Having one of those weeks at work, I’m still stuck on the same issue I started the week with. Made some progress with other tasks, but not this one in particular.
This is a good reminder by Nicholas Bate of the power of a list.
The list remains the most powerful task management tool: a simple, accessible and visible flight deck. One thing: use it not only to capture what you have to do but also what you wish to do. Don’t simply be reactive; be proactive.
Terry Pratchett’s “A Stroke of the Pen: The Lost Stories”, is a hilarious read so far. Also a good book to kick start my reading for 2024. Starting the year with a couple of shorter books just to get going.

Why can’t every New Year’s Eve fall on an NFL game day? It’s much more entertaining than the usual drivel you see on the telly on New Year’s Eve.

I have a couple of errands to run this morning, including holiday haircuts for myself and the boys. After that, it’s back home for some brunch. I’m also going to crack open the Dailymuse app to continue working on a new feature for it. Yeah, even on holiday, I’m still writing code.
