I’ve been hesitating to unfollow a blogger I have followed for years. This morning I decided to unsubscribe. The silence from them is deafening.
It’s great to see a player like Sam Darnold win a Super Bowl. A real testament to not only his physical ability, but also his mental resistance. Also, it pays to be patient. The NFL is a tough league to crack, but players need time to develop their skills. Sam Darnold played the long game and won.
How did I not know about filters in Micro.blog?
I spent a bit of time on my new Micro.blog theme tonight. All elements have been refined, and a splash of colour has been added. And thanks everyone for the positive feedback so far!
Aeronaut is a really nice Bluesky client. Curious to see if there will be any additional features released over time.
It might be time to buy another batch of AirTags. There’s nothing in the feature updates that screams game-changer, but they’re convenient to have. Our oldest bagged a couple from our first batch for going to the States. I could do with a couple more, especially one for my laptop bag.
I planned to start the year with a more consistent blogging pattern, but that went right out the window. To be honest, my thoughts are on a lot of other things at the moment. Things I haven’t been able to put into words.
Moving over to FastMail
After a few months using Proton, I decided it wasn’t for me. I found it cumbersome to use, and despite its excellent reputation for respecting users’ privacy, I missed a few features since moving from Hey.
This evening, I completed a switch over to FastMail. I managed to migrate all my email from both Proton and Hey, and FastMail has the features that I am looking for to mimic what I had in Hey.
As great as SourceHut is, I wish there were an easier way of creating labels for ticket tracking. Importing a CSV seems like the most trivial way I could think of. If you were importing labels as a CSV, I imagine you would also want to export them as a CSV as well.
Now page updated. First time in a while, but I want to keep this updated every two weeks or so from now on.
